The idea behind this flavor combination came from the notion that pork blends well with apples and onions. This is a healthy alternative to chicken and can help you avoid the “mom, not chicken again!” moans and groans. Also, since the meal doesn’t require any fancy-schmancy ingredients, you’re likely to have everything you need on-hand. The sauce is simple enough that even the pickiest palates will be happy with dinner.
It's Georgia Blueberry season! Finally, the snow is melting away, the sun is warm on my face and I can’t wait to get out in that spring weather to play in the dirt each afternoon. 
This is by far my favorite savory blueberry dish. It is so good, I could eat it once a week and it is so easy to make. Since it is such a fast meal, it is a fabulous weeknight recipe for when dinnertime needs to happen in a flash.

Next weekend my husband and I are hosting a baby shower for my sister-in-law and my brother to welcome their first baby into the world! We are very excited to celebrate with them and have invited all our family and friends to join us. It wasn’t until I started making out the invitations that I realized our guest list was a lot longer than I had originally thought.
It’s summertime and here in the South that means its time for some front porch sittin' and lemonade or sweet tea sippin'. I love to entertain during the summer! It's low key and casual with lots of grilling out and chilling out.
