Honey Banana-Blueberry Frozen Yogurt

Written by Denise Sawyer on Tuesday, June 04, 2013.

Before you turn up your nose declaring yourself a die hard ice cream fan, I beg you to give it a shot. This frozen yogurt is so good it turned my husband’s opinion of the frozen treat right around!

Not only is it lower in fat and sugar, this frozen yogurt recipe is made with only 3 ingredients - all of which are real, wholesome foods. No chemicals or artificial sweeteners here! Remember the 10 minute blueberry jam I shared about three weeks ago? You’ll be able to do double duty with it. You can use it on your toast, homemade biscuits, or waffles for breakfast and then use the last ½ cup to make this delicious afternoon treat!

:: Honey Banana-Blueberry Frozen Yogurt

3 cups of banana yogurt {such as Stonyfield Farms organic YoBaby banana yogurt}
1/3 cup of honey
½ cup of ten minute blueberry jam {link to recipe}

Place yogurt and honey in the blender. Blend until thoroughly mixed. Pour mixture into your ice cream freezer. When frozen yogurt is partially frozen drop in ½ cup of blueberry jam. Allow frozen yogurt to finish freezing. Enjoy!
